How does Master (ECU) differ from Master (FULL)?

Master (ECU) focuses on engine ECUs. OBD and Bench are included. Boot mode is hardware-ready and is unlocked with the Full upgrade. Master (FULL) also provides broader ECU coverage.

Can I buy Master in the shop?

Do I need programming skills?

Yes. Master requires that you understand what you're doing. You work with unencrypted files and full calibration capabilities — that requires expertise.

What are BDM, JTAG and AUTM?

Hardware-level access modes for ECUs that won't open via OBD, Bench or Boot. BDM (Background Debug Mode) and JTAG are debug interfaces for direct chip access. AUTM is a further hardware-level mode for complex repairs and recoveries. Standard workshop tools don't offer these.
