Do I need programming skills?

What are BDM, JTAG and AUTM?
Hardware-level access modes for ECUs that won't open via OBD, Bench or Boot. BDM (Background Debug Mode) and JTAG are debug interfaces for direct chip access. AUTM is a further hardware-level mode for complex repairs and recoveries. Standard workshop tools don't offer these.
