Common Questions Before You Buy

Do I need the subscription forever?
The first 12 months are fully included: ongoing protocol updates, support via the portal and your credits. After that, you renew to keep receiving updates and support. That way you stay permanently up to date.
What if I brick an ECU while flashing?
The device protects you against exactly that: before every write operation, a full backup of the original is created automatically. If anything goes wrong, you restore the original via Bench or Boot. And if you get stuck, our support team guides you through the recovery via the ticket system.
I have never done any tuning before. Can I still use it?
Yes. You are guided through every step, and over 40,000 vehicles are stored in the database. And if you do not feel ready to create files yourself yet: you read out the ECU and our team prepares the finished file for you via autofiles.de. You learn as you go.
